About me:
For the last two years, we have been gathering an oral history of Bay Area punk. We started in the East Bay and slowly went West as punk family trees drew us back in time. We now have a history that spans over 20 years, with nearly 300 people telling the tale. Everyone from Orlando X and Dave Chavez to John Geek and Marc Dagger. From Gilman Street, Barrington Hall, Ruthie's Inn, the Farm, Blondie's, Maximum RocknRoll, Tool & Die, the Vats, Piss Alley, Skinhead Hill, the Dish, Silverball, and everywhere else between El Sobrante and San Francisco. It's an amazing history and an amazing scene, one that has been too often overlooked by punk "historians." We'll have something to show you all soon. Thank you for your stories and your support.
