1. any prepared substance, usually in stick form, that will smolder and can be used to light fireworks, fuses, etc.
2. dry, decayed wood that can be used as tinder.

4. a spongy substance derived from fungi; amadou; touchwood.
5. a venue that is taking West End nightlife in a new direction.
Punk is not just another club with a nondescript interior, charging extortionate drink prices and playing funky house, R&B and ‘eclectic beats’. Punk ushers in a more casual, hip policy that rebels against the establishment.
We’ve all heard of mashed-up music, Punk now brings you mashed-up entertainment. A permanent stage allows live music and cabaret to sit side by side with nights like Smash & Grab, The Learner Dancer Party, Glamor:oke and I Heart Niyi hosted by Super Super.
So far we've entertained the likes of the Franz Ferdinand, Hedi Slimane, Supergrass, Ronnie Wood, Mark Ronson, Johnny Borrell, David Walliams, Mario Testino, Jay Kay, Bobby Gillespie, Mick Jones, Mika, Philip Treacy, Kate Moss, Julien Macdonald, Matthew Williamson, Lily Allen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Agyness Deyn and Kelly Osbourne.. all who have recently partied at Punk.
Add to that a 3am licence, a 270 capacity, a Soho Square location… This could be Anarchy!

The wave of 80's glamour that is Fancy Footwork, moves to its new home the infamous "Punk" Soho!
The night kicks off with our acclaimed "Spotlight Aerobics" from 7.00pm, where you can come down and learn the dance moves to a collection of throwback classics.
Following on from the aerobics, the night transforms into an all out house party with resident hosts L'Verge & Player Player, causing a general ruckus till the early hours of the morning.
What it sounds like: 80's Pop / Party Hip Hop / Old School Rock / Classic House / Miami Bass / Punk / 60's Rock / Soul / Rare Disco / Classic Techno / 80's Funk +++
What you'll hear: Prince, MJ , Madonna + everything else we want to play!!!
What its costs: Aerobics – 7.00 GBP or 6.00 GBP in 80's attire (Both include free club entry) Club Night: Free before 10pm, 6.00 GBP after.
