The band that's straight to the point. (currently in hiatus sorting out the next chapter)
About an hour away from the the ironically world renowned, unplanned and messed up city of Sydney Australia, the band forms in the Hawkesbury and Penrith Valleys to make music with influences from around the globe, for the purpose of making music for people to listen to whether it be myspace listened, radio aired, youtube viewed, pub or club staged, the plans are non existent. We are not against commercial success if it doesnt do us in the arse.
Pure Heir is a raw and edgy outfit, comprising a tight sound with flowing grunge and pulsy beats, booming bass, and vocals to add the final icing to the cake. Pure Heir love to perform live and show what we can do. Our music is our life, and we experiment with different types of sounds for guitar and bass arising from our influences including popular house music all the way to industrial rock and metal. Intriguingly and arousingly brutal guitar dulled down by melodic vocal lines. Our songs are about meaning... about real people having issues with real people and we make no exception to singing about problems in the world, big or small.
The band has come to its own since early 2009 with good friends helping with certain aspects of the band, and with 2010 coming very fast, we can't wait to see what surprises and events will arise out of the woodwork.

I should clear up one little thing though. We have officially been mad for quite some time now, but thanks anyway. We havent been up to much, just putting together a kick ass radio show that airs each week at 9am Sundays on 90.7 SYN fm in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, you know, the norm. How have you boys been?
what have we been up to? oh you know, playin acer arena later this week. bit of a low profile thing really, zeppelin's reforming to support us haha. just learnin some new stuff lately, got some good original stuff we wanna get cracking on so hopefully we get some time to do that, otherwise just playin some parties.
