Pure Reality Studios
Pure Reality Studios is run by Stuart Howlette, a graduate of Music Technology from the University of Central England. The entity that is Pure Reality Studios has existed since January 2007. It is steadily gaining ground on its way to becoming the first point of call for mobile recording services and home based recording in the Rotherham and South Yorkshire area.
Stuart has vast experience in audio recording. Starting on Cakewalk Pro Audio on a noisy PC many years ago to the current Apple-based Pro Tools set up, he has recorded an eclectic mix of performers, everything from Opera performances to Death Metal, and everywhere in between.
Stuart is also a capable performing musician, with experience gigging, rehearsing, composing music, and thus can offer a musicians perspective on a recording session, not just an engineers point of view. He also will offer his services whenever they are required, whether to offer direction for the performers, or write parts for the performers, or even perform himself should this be required.
As of July 2007, the recording business is now mobile, with a very similar equipment set up when on location as when mixing in the project studio. This can provided a much needed continuity which can be lacking in many portable recording scenarios.
