inner music, the sound current meditation www.santmat.net is free and within you, it's best for effect and true spiritual bliss and enlightenemnt etc.
outer wordly music: peaceful soothing indian classical instrumental music most closely resembles the peaceful soothing inner sounds heard on inner planes. otherwise any well-done peaceful soothing music. also conscious lyrics i appreciate, i too am poet/lyricist. hear a humble sample of some originals recited by myself at my voicemail greeting 831-425-3334 phone number in santa cruz, California, USA; { then sing me your songs. }
in general i like to encourage raw live free expression of live humans sharing heart and soul poetry and songs with live humans, person to person, maybe in small gatherings where each has a turn and we all really listen. So that every human gets to share their talent &/or express their heart&soul and play music and sing and recite lyrics and be heard and listened to and honored and appreciated, not just a few marketing-clever known super-stars. but i guess canned music/songs are useful on long road trips, etc.....
However, sometimes it's wise to allow the silence, so you can tune inside and hear your own songs welling-up!
ok, here's a few samples of some i've heard that i like or appreciate or admire or something good: "Mazzie Star" [is that right?; "Enya" [ is that right?]; Cat Stevens [it was serving God for him to play his good old songs!]; Bob Dylan; Beatles ; U2 {"one man in the name of Love", "give and give, giving of yourself, giving yourself away, give youself away"}; various soothing angleic heavenly female vocalists; Madonna; some "Doors" in some ways some-times; Oingo-Boingo, some radio songs are fun to listen to as well sometimes tho i do not necessarily know all titles and artists names etc, but some may inlcude:"promiscuous", "me and you", and the popular one by shakira about "refugees run the seas 'cause we're on our own boats" that's a funny line, i relate to that , having to think of levitating or floating or some clever way to figure out a way to exist and live without being hassled for freedom in a free country of Liberty! {yes it is Ludicrous!} surely many other songs/music i've heard and don't know the names of the composers or singers or song-writers or musicians; and a bunch of un-named people i have met in person who recited poems at a vegan potluck party or played live at a rainbow gathering campfire or beach bon-fire or whatever wherever whoever, i tell you truly, earth humans aplenty have alot of amazing talent and i wish it was all spread out a bit more evenly!
some who are truly inspired are too pure and mystically attuned to be so grounded onto material plane to be really into competitive marketing etc.
what gets popular isn't necessarily thre best music/songs/lyrics always, but often just aggressive publishing/marketing.
i heard a good live jam of indian classical instruments and singing etc at farmers market santa cruz CA the other day for example.
those are real musicians, out there sharing their songs and music live in public free for all!
not necessarily using some inherited wealth or otherwise aggressively marketing/publishing.
point to ponder: what motivates the music? the Muse? is it from inside-out? or outside-in? does mystic attunement bring the lyrics and songs and poetry and music geysering up from deep esoteric inner heart and soul and it must come forth as a gift to the world?
or does someone just see that musicians can become famous and rich and think well i heard that and i can do as well so let's use our money and connections to get published and marketed.
but anyways, ready access to endless music easy and cheap and universally available in modern world does help alot of people get by emotionally day to day, doesn't it?!
i wish we could live in a musical, where people are not so rushed they cannot take time to communicate in style of spontaneous song and dance !
without getting busted for the crime of spontaneous public creative expression!
goofy fun and self-expression only allowed on stage or art recorded and canned for sale.
is not laughter and crying musical sound?! i have had people call the cops on me for both laughing and crying in public ! why the fear of free expression?! there's plenty to both laugh and cry about in this world !
some popular music able to be heard and listened to even on the radio is fun to listen to even. for me i must hear a song then let you know if i like it.
sometimes i might like a couple songs by a band or singer or musician but not necessarily all that they do.
i have met or encountered plenty live musicians, singers, etc that are unknown but talented. i think everyone ought to honor and encourage one another the nice way folks are supposed to do for children, just commend them for trying, for self expression, for sharing of their inner heart soul expressed outwardly artistriclaly thru poetry, lyrics, feelings, songs, music, etc. Paris Hilton
"Stars Are Blind " is a very cute romantic song. another popular song today i like is about "maybe i/you/we are Crazy, possibly".
Escapism is the basic theme, something different than avg ordinary mundane normal worldly life. magic and miracles. fantasy and sci-fi. good heroes of course. here's some examples: all the movies of the saga of star wars, also star trek. brave heart and movies like that. so, maybe costume dramas of the past, and also well imagined futures, also other planets/glaxies/universes, or subtler dimensions. movies that make you think about spirituality, ethics, morals, other realms, other realities, other worlds, other planets; how better things could be or should be. walk out theatre wishing to practrice more kindness, be a super-hero for the good, be humble and treat gently the under-dogs and cast-aways and mis-fits. respect all as soul, you never know who is an honorable hero or good secret agent in disguise, who may be an angel or high soul humbling to human form; and some movies touch on these concepts philosophically. help me make more good movies like that! proceeds go to get land for pure vegan ecovillages !

Shine Upon All Blissfully
Actually this original and inspired *poem is meant to
refer to "angelic" saintly virtuous divinity humanity
may
express. what i mean to say, is, i wish thois popem to
inspire humans to live up to the state of higher
consciousness this poem relfects. we souls in human
form
may become
consciously aware of our innate divinity, and we may
be
more angelic here now on earth than any wing-ed angels
in
subtler astral realms, be they heavenly planes in
subtler
dimensions.
in fact i am of the opinion it is our moral imperitive
to
gather astute ethical consciousness, remain aware and
constantly vigilantly carefull { full of care } about
how
our
actions might affect others for good or ill. it is

i've scanned the globe & travelled the world
searching for Sacred Pure & Holy Dream Girl
is it really too much to beg plead and ask
that she simply not wear a make-up mask ?!
her face all natural pure and clean
no toxic poison if you know what i mean
make-up is an obstruction, an intimacy block
her face must be kissed, does that come as a shock ?!
she never smoked and never will
she's gentle not violent, she doesn't kill
so she's vegan of curse, pure vegetarian
a valorous virtuous humanitarian
she's healthy & naturally hygienic as well
no domestic-animals filthy stinking hell
she lets wild animals remain free in nature
she's balanced both childlike and wisely mature
her brain is brilliant, her body is beauty
her virtue is valiant, her visage a cutie
her nose nicely shaped little feminine slope
perfectly pretty, she says "yep" not "nope"
when i suggest any smart course of action
her humble receptivity is part of her attraction
she's irresistably hot, but diseased she's not
she's doesn't let just anyone into the melting pot
as self-disciplined Yogini she can sublimate
her various energies focus up & in to meditate
but when she meets the right sacred holy man
she knows how to share Love, she may and she can
lungs heaving her bosom is bursting out of her top
she can play at Love all night without need to stop
& she's playful by day engaged in righteous good deeds
selfless service, care, compassion are among her creeds
hugs without bugs, & no drugs from thugs

suggest everyone read all 9 books by vladimir megre about vegetarian wild wise woman Anastasia !
hey i just got out of the wilderness, spent 3 days and 4 nights in staying in the forest reading 3 more anastasia books by vladimir megre ! the books are very intriguing, fascinating, interesting and fun to read.
the real life protagonist Anastasia the spiritual natural wild wise woman is veg and she explains the ancient vedic human society were gentle veg and never even considered harming animals or anybody.
i have completed 4 of 9 is 44.44444% of the 9 book series; i am waiting for the library to get me remainder.
i do recomend them, and if u and your family read them all and decide they r worthy then maybe u can advise everyone you are in contact with that this series is recomended reading, about ancient vedic human culture gentle vegeterians !
animals did enjoy helping them but voluntarily not as slaves. the animals lived naturally, could fend for themselves with all natural instincts, but chose to have fun pleasing humans with animal skills assistance.
just as anastasia now, a real person alive today, lives with her grandpa and young boy child in siberian taiga boreal forest wilderness with help of squirrels providing shelled nuts ready to eat ! and bear/wolf nanny the boy, plus an eagle took the baby when infant/toddler+_ on a wing-ed ride to see the world from on high ! fact not fiction, reality not fantasy.
and she has many special powers.
anyways, she has inspired 300+ ecovillages in russia i heard, the exact count unknown, but author and readers are asking russian president/govt to approve giving away at least a hectare = 2.5 acres freely to ever russian family to garden, farm, make home there, untaxed and with inheritance rights !
we need that in usa too, and all countries on earth as well !

Audio-books on both tapes and CD's is my preferred way to read, being read to by professional actors who do all characters voices and there's even sound effects. i can still putts around the home-place while listening: prep pure vegan meals, chew pure vegan meals, clean up after pure vegan meals, organize home-space etc all the while listening to books, unabridged even! and get credit for being all intellectual and well-read ! aha ! for example star wars stories, which some may call fiction but maybe it really happened a long time ago in vegan way galaxy far away? and i am a real jedi knight now on earth! other spiritual and philosophical books, i have read untold dozens and scores and hundreds..... also many free from public libraries you may borrow audio books on CD or cassette! sure i read by straining my eyes sometimes too.

a couple weeks ago+_ i had to flee town for a week+_ for decent healthy breathing air b/c of the Lockheed fire-smoke. the fire was within about ten miles of my home, burned over 7 thousand acres. thus i was outta commission re Leafleting, due to being a traveling refugee. Oregon coast was nice. :-)
today the free farm day meal was all vegetarian, and about 75% of the dishes were vegan, same with bake sale, mostly vegan. they remembered me from Leafleting the japanese fest couple months ago when i bought out their vegan cookies. the free farm fest day is annual event around end August or beginning September, annually.
