What's in a name? Well, not a lot really! One of us wanted "Puritan", another wanted "Slain". We stuck them together. There's no religious undertone, no hidden meaning - we're one hundred percent all about the metal.
Hailing from the Isle of Wight, Puritan Slain are the result of both lifelong friendships and new blood and are influenced by some of the world's heaviest metal bands. Metallica, Pantera, Slipknot, In Flames and Trivium would feature heavily in the band's influence lists, but our sound is most definitely our own.

We are currently heading into Slain Towers™ Studio to record our first full length album, so we don't have anything lined up at the moment.
