    I love reading books that give me more insights about God--His will, plans and purposes for this world and His creation.

    I enjoy cooking and I have been trying new recipes I would not dare cook before when I was working. Having the time to watch Food Network, it serves as an inspiration to gain ideas and "tricks of the trade" of cooking ala chef style! *lol* *joking* I never have thought that the day will come that I actually will enjoy cooking in a no rush setting. *lol*

    In general, Psalm 118:24 always come to my mind each morning that God allows me to see: "24 This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." And I end the day with thanksgiving in my heart and the thought of the verses: "11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11"
    ...and "8 The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Psalm 32:8"
