What does purity really mean?

Ecclesiastes 9:8
Let your garments be always white with purity, and let your head not lack the oil of gladness.
Thessalonians 4:7
For God has not called us to impurity but to consecration to dedicate ourselves to the most thorough purity.
Timothy 4:12
Let no one despise or think less of you because of your youth, but be an example pattern for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.
Mark 7
18 And he said to them, "Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him,

Ephesians 5
