About me:
Purple Archery, www.PurpleArchery.com, Level-2 Archery Instructor. I still have one of the first three bows I used to start shooting. I have the first serious bow I got, a Shakespeare Wonderbow 400, circa 1959, 35lbs. I currently shoot a Welchman Longbow, Oregon Pacific Yew, English longbow, 50lbs draw, horn tips. I have a set of custom made arrows, tapered cedar shafts, +/- 5 grains, +/- 5lbs spine, hand dipped, crested, 5 color splice fletched in purple white, and grey. The first night I got the arrows, not even paid for yet, I shot well enough to split one of them - in front of the guy that just finished making them. He cried. Now I make my own arrows. I plan to finish a purple leather quiver for them, before a tourney in April. Also, should have the purple wool cloaks for the family finished by then.
