Carl, Raz, Ovi and Jake are the four members of Purple Herbie, an aggressive, alternative and slightly progressive rock group with a ¼ cup of blues. Each one of them have remarkable musical qualities while bringing their own personal touch and a little of their soul in every song they play.

Raz the veteran of the group brings wisdom and an element of surprise which can bring delight to everyone. Raz recorded and performed with many other groups where he has put his personal touch and influence throughout his long career.

Carl the drummer better known as “The Animal” is a talented musician who, after a long musical experience, has perfected drum techniques coupled with a creative imagination while being an attentive listener to the other members. Throughout his long career, he has recorded and performed with many groups and artists, and has taught in reputable music schools teaching jazz and latin to finally return to his first love, the rock and the blues.

Ovi, one of the younger members, is imaginative and creative bringing a touch of craziness to each song he plays or sings also adding originality, power and charisma. He has a voice which conveys at the same time gentleness, strength and vibrancy; his music elates us, enchants and takes us to a world where music is king.

And finally, “Dirty Boy” Jake, at 19 only, a young and brilliant discovery, an incredible blues guitarist with solos that will make you quiver and a spirit that ignites you. A typical daydreamer as a young adult, he has developed a certain musical maturity within him in spite of his youth which shines through and will put him in the ranks of other guitar heroes in the future.
