Born & raised in the Bay Area, residing in San Lorenzo, Blaze One started out like a lot of other young rappers growing up writing & freestylying for fun. Blaze and longtime, childhood friend, Jay-Bandit, were always spittin’ their lyrics for folks in the neighborhood and friends at school. After a while they formed their group, TheVillains, and rapped together until 2005. Blaze 1 had a number of Bay Area artists influencing him from Mac Dre, E-40, Andre Nickatina, 3X Crazy, Brotha Lynch, & Mob Figaz. Over the years Blaze has been able to convey his style of flow with his rugged, dynamic delivery, combined with his yrics which relate to living life and learning from it. Growing older, wiser, and going through new experiences have built Blaze 1’s character as a person, a man, & a genuine MC. THE WORKS OF BLAZE ONE: Blaze made his first appearance on EMC's "Underground Disciples Vol. 1" and has been a featured artist on various albums including Lunacie's "Need No Approval", Doe Boy the Official's "Have No Fear", and Darcsage's "Da Last Son". In 2007 Blaze dropped a limited edition mixtape titled "Tha Mixed Grape Mixtape v1" which was only available by street sale. Blaze is about to drop his rookie album "PurplemuziK" featuring Bay Area legend Spice 1 as well as many other emerging Bay MC's like Lunacie, Darcsage, Carl B, DTALKS, Hooli Automatic & many more...
