Hi we are Purple Pro Audio, we do many things all of which are associated with taking a bunch of musicians and making them sound better.
PURPLE REHEARSAL ROOMS give you a regular weekly slot for a fixed monthly fee with free storage, 24/7 access, all in purpose built rooms. We paid a great deal of attention to the sound proofing and acoustic treatment, as well as producing a creative work space.
PURPLE RECORDING is a 24 track digital studio set in a creative, acoustically engineered space.
Purple has a Powermac G5 loaded with Logic Pro 7 and Waves Plug-ins and can record up to 24 tracks at 96K simultaneously. We also have other recording, sequencing and sampling packages available and a wide selection of outboard and microphones (including Neumann, SE, AKG, Shure, Beyerdynamic & EV). We can source any equipment you require that is currently not in stock. We offer a full service from recording, mixing, mastering through to manufacturing the finished CD or can do just one part of that process.

PURPLE PA HIRE - We also do loads of gigs and have a 60KW concert PA system. We get our hands on all sorts of people from local festivals including the Moor Music Festival to The Editors, Hard-fi & Snow Patrol. We do all sizes of PA systems from small Vocal rigs up to Large Festivals, Please call the office for more details.

FEATURED BAND - PIGEON DETECTIVES
We have just spent 2 days on Millenium Square with the Pigeon Detectives. It was great to catch up with them, they started their musical life at purple and recorded their HMV showcase with us too. Both nights were fantastic. 'This is an emergency' the single is out now; a live version recorded at the Leeds shows is also available. The Album 'Emergency' is out soon. Best of luck to the lads!

Hiya You'll be able to hear a radio mix of our new single 'What Katie Did' on Sherwoodradios unsigned show each saturday night. The singles released on Oct 31st
Hiya What a summer its been!! We’ve been working hard in the studio and are currently recording our first commercial EP 'What Katie Did' which will be released around October time. You can hear a demo version on our MySpace.
We are not planning any live shows until we are ready to promote the EP but you never know we may pop up at a venue near you.
Hiya We’ve been working on some new songs and are in pre-production for the recording of our first commercial CD release which will be recorded over the summer, with a hopeful release October time,
Our last live performance before our summer holiday will be at the Selby outdoor festival at the James Street 'bowling green' in Selby on the 21st June, the event starts at 1pm and we’ll be on stage at 5pm others on the bill are Dirty Secrets, Chantel McGregor, The Beautiful Sound, Last Gang and headlining is the Bryan Adams Experience, we hope you can be there.

Hiya It’s been busy in the K&Q camp and we’ve a few gigs coming up in the next few weeks. We are starting in York at the Speakeasy on the 28th April before moving on to the New Roscoe in Leeds on 25th May and then onto Nottingham Trent Students Union, Brackenhurst Bar, NTSU Brackenhurst Campus, Southwell on the 29th May, It would be great to see you at one of them if you can come. love K&Qs xxx
Hiya We are playing at the Junction in York next Sunday on March 8th (with RED ZEPHYR, THE LOCALS and JONNY KAY) and the Wardrobe in Leeds on the 19th March.
