PURPULAR RECORDS :- Recording Services and Drumkit Tuition by GLENN HUBBOLD..........I am a 34 year old musician based in Chandlers Ford and have over 20 years experience in music. I first started playing drums at 13 and was taught to read and write music to a very high standard. I was in my first band at 14 playing rock covers with school mates. At 16 I learnt to play acoustic and electric guitars and electric bass but drums was my main instrument. I played with a number of band and musicians and started recording at 17. In 1994 I started teaching drums and became and independent session drummer and dep drummer working all over the country. In the late 90's I learnt about music production and started mixing and producing music. From 2000 onwards I worked with lots of musicians and in 2006 put my own studio together. This was based at unit6 in Southampton, which is a great rehersal facility for all bands and musicians run by Owen Pucket (for more info on unit6 go to www.unit6.biz ) I now specialise in acoustic recordings and vocal recordings with backing tracks and can work from home. I use the biggest room in the house which has been acousticaly treated ( the music on this site has been recorded there ). I teach drums from there too on yamaha digital drums. I am still available as a session or dep drummer and have a set of acoustic drums too and am available to work anywhere.
