On Purrfect Timing we're rockin' your nights with all the hard rock, classic rock and metal from the 80s and early 90s....I love this music and the people who make it so much that I started a show to give them the spotlight. Many of these bands have new material that never gets to reach people on the FM airwaves, but you'll hear it all on this show! There is just an incredible amount of great music from this era and we work hard to make this a place that keeps the music alive. Fortunately, I am decade impaired enough to bring it all to you! (Big hair, short skirts and a weakness for lead singers. Long story!) But you get the picture....every day on Purrfect Timing takes you back to THE day! Hi Purrfect Timing.....on the US Rock Radio Network! Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!
