Kairos Fire Burning operates from the perspective that the lyrics & message of a song are of essential value and should never be taken lightly. Too often lyrics are merely "pasted" overtop of a catchy chord progression. But, in the case of this band, it is often the lyrics which inspire the music & melody to begin with.
Music without meaning is music empty of power. It is melody devoid of life. This life is a journey; a journey often full of hardship and difficulty but, at other times, arriving upon moments of joy, fulfillment, and deep satisfaction. KFB earnestly attempts to chronicle this journey and, through candid and "imperfect" songwriting, hopes to challenge and inspire it's listeners to push on until they've reached a place of Purpose & Hope.
The band is currently looking to book shows in the local area. Whether it is a one set opening band, or a longer multiple set timeslot, with over 30 original songs, KFB is able to accomodate any time period the scheduling establishment might need.
In 2009 they will be recording a 5 or 6 song EP. The plan is to work through the music on the digital recording equipment already owned, & then to go into a studio & create a professional grade CD that would be of a quality that could be played on the radio.
KFB is still open to adding a lead guitarist or keyboard player at this time. Any Christian musician interested in being a part of this creative process, should contact Jeff by email.

Thanks for the add my friend. Hey, Jesus is alive ! "And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him:lo,I have told you." Matthew 28:5-7 Have you talked to Him today ?

Sorry, but the weather just would not cooperate with us for tonight. Enlou is out of the Cincinnati area & had to cancel due to the difficult driving conditions. They would like to reschedule their show &, I'll let you all know when I have another date lined up for them. In the meantime, our new opening date has been pushed back to March 21st. We have 2 great bands lined up, & both are very excited about being there. The evening will open up with a Karaoke contest & there will be CDs & t-shirts awarded as prizes later on in the evening.
