Far too much music to start listing. Have a listen to some of my friends, you'll find a very wide range of music and no recognizable pattern.
Movies

Again, far too much to start listing. Most Woody Allen (so he starts listing) most Tarantino, PT Anderson, any Kubrick, David Lynch when I think I'm sort of following.
My hands down favourite: Buster Keaton. The General is a good place to start.

i just told my friend aaron to get in touch with you, re: filming at tapestry studio in march. i'm going to go there with mitch to have a look at the sound system sometime in january, maybe you could come too and have a look at the space.
