"This experimental Nashville band pumps out post-rock
in the spirit of Slint with lo-fi psychedelic female vocals."
-Flagpole magazine
"The periscopic process of determining a sense of self from where you've been and where you are going is a seeming goal of the Nashville-based band Pushy Lips. Their songs are both seamless in flow and can achieve a non-linear trajectory, referencing back on each other yet moving forward, much like any good narrative. If good music makes you think about the performer but great music forces you to delve deep into yourself then Pushy Lips has by far achieved the latter. Not to be missed." --
I'm so excited about the show I can barely stand it. The Dynamos are always great and Cinemechanica is one of my favorite live bands. Awesome shows FTW.
Awe Kristen! As much as I'd love to be able to take the credit, it's actually our drummer Stephen who's the creative brains and graphic know-how behind the fliers. He's pretty bad-ass with illustrator and photoshop in ways that I would be an embarrassment!
