Anything by Bernie Wrightson, Chas Balun, Jake Karns, Pushead, Vincent Locke, badly drawn deathmetal art and any artist who painted VHS horror covers in the 80's, Now those are masterpieces!! Obsessively reading Splatter Guides from Chas Balun and various others as well as any book on the subject too.
METAL!!!! More specifically Death Metal but I have an ear for all (Thrash, Black, Doom, etc...) there's no fuckin way I'm gonna list all the bands I like.

nothin man! just got back from a weekend tour with my band, it was fucking NUTS. i am however exhausted...had a long drive back from Boston today haha. I have a couple new pieces up man, check em out when youve got time! i am also working on a couple things involving colored pencils (my first attempt at using color), and i'll probably have those done and posted within the next week or so, so i'll keep you posted! Nice i thought i recognized them, i had a big box of those myself years ago they are pretty bad ass when you master them and a lot more controllable than watercolours because you have more control. I used to do watercolours but that shit always flowed all over the place. Going to be interesting to see you use those, bring it on!!! haha

that off white is how the paper looks...but i lost a lot of detail in the scan trying to match the color...cool your gonna frame that phibes piece...i gotta get some prints from you...you have a Menace shirt coming out soon too right? I remember seeing the art...i saw that bootleg shirt you made..totally different design...cool shit. how many did you make?
yeah man..i saw that Wolfwoman you drew and it motivated me to draw..Rusty gave me til Sunday and i whipped this up all in one sitting...I was gonna give him some photoshop crap I had because i have a bunch of projects but fuck that noise...all hand drawn...no white out and some brushwork...i just got a bunch of supplies today from a garage sale..stoked! and a nice no2 brush from michaels...so im psyched to try my first all brush piece! Cant wait to see what you have in store from us next..cheers!

Things are going good, got a couple of shows coming up in December out in the NY/NJ area and we'll probably do one last gig in LA before we focus on recording the Full-Length early next year.
We had a blast in Chicago, just wish we had a bit more time to check out the city!
