NO! i want whoopy goldberg as a hyena, james earl jones's booming gangster ass voice, fantastic visuals, and a nice soundtrack from elton john and hanz zimmer.....not some vintage anime shit with crappy 4-frame per second animation and its very own 16 bit spectrum of colors. but guess what doesn't get mentioned? 1. the story of simba and the story of the story of kimba are not about the same thing. hell, kimba has humans in it. 2. disney actually helped with the production of kimba. 3. the creator of kimba, made an anime version of bambi. how's that for being original? the lion king, and the jungle emperor are BOTH ripping off story telling techniques that have becoe virtually impossible to avoid for thousands of years. so, if you really wanna get down to it, get mad at every story that's ever been made for ripping off the oddyssy, gilgamesh, the bible, and shit the bible ripped off, or the countless shakespear stories we see reincarnated over and over. fuck what they said about the doom patrol. sure, the x-men were a ripoff, but check this out. doom patrol gets their powers from freak accident . sounds like.....the fantastic four....which predates the doom patrol. stan lee said when he was making the x-men, he wasn't sure how to give them their powers. he had already used radioactive spiderbites, gamma radiation, and radioactive sun flare exposure or something like that. so, he came up with a shortcut, where he'll never have to explain a power's origin again. ginetic mutation. dna and shit like that. and that provided for the whole dynamic with the metaphore for minorities. what sets the x-me
