About me:

I am a 30 year old writer trying to make it in the world of books and literature. I have a website that I post most of my work on: www.pviktor.com, and I have also published two collections of poetry and a novel.

My latest poetry collection is The Loss House, which is now available to purchase from Lulu. It is printed in a paperback edition at £7.99, or as a pdf download for £3.50.

"In his second poetry collection, P.Viktor explores the meaning of loss in all of its forms; the death of someone close, the homes we leave behind, the dissolving of the past, the fallout from failed relationships, and the loss of the self. Telling the story of the last two years of the poet's life, The Loss House is a study of grief, and the power of writing to overcome it".

A new, second edition of A Marriage of Sorts has also just been published by Lulu. It is printed in a paperback edition at £7.99, or as a pdf download for £3.50.

"In A Marriage of Sorts, the second edition, P.Viktor explores three archetypal themes: love, marriage, and death, forming a triptych through which a love affair is played out. We follow two lovers from their first, blissful encounters, to marriage with its constituent difficulties of compromising the self and retaining an identity, and ending with the spectre of death that helps our lovers decide their own fate".

Finally, my debut novel, Veneer, is available to purchase. It is printed in a softback edition at £10.95.

"From the first day of his new employment Kris Noone felt disillusioned. He found himself in the banal world of sales assistants; folding garments, selling suits, serving hostile customers. He was ill at ease with his new colleagues; the haughty women obsessed with gossip and fashion, the servile junior staff with whom he had nothing in common, the strange tailor he took weekly alterations to. But it was his tyrannical manager, Vivienne, who was determined to go to any length to model him into the perfect employee. When he resisted, he was quick to realise the terrible consequences for them all.

P. Viktor was born in Lancashire in 1979. He has a degree in English, and is currently reading psychology at Oxford Brookes University. He has published one book of poetry, A Marriage of Sorts (2007).This is his first novel".

This major BRITISH company insist that it’s female and gay employees must accept this policy or suffer a reduction in take home pay of around 20-30%. In effect the company have said it will suspend its female and gay workers rights to be treated the same as its male work force WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SPREAD THE EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON.

Please add the following so we can raise the profile of the case

The Loss House is truly stunning, powerful stuff. P's best work yet, if anyone reading this is curious about it's content - I urge them to buy a copy. It's a moving collection of poems about the end of childhood and the many losses of adulthood. Anyone aproaching or already in their thirties will understand how varied and painful these losses are and how they seem to pile up yearly at an alarming rate.
    Buy this collection! x
