About me:

July 18 @ Cavendish Rd State High School Hall!

PWA Queensland makes its return to Cavendish Rd State High School Hall (located at the corner of Cavendish and Holland Roads, Holland Park, 4121) for what is shaping up to be a huge night of action!

On the second night of Rise Of The Warriors 3, James Blade announced that he would retire from wrestling at the end of 2009. After this announcement, Mason Childs and The Brotherhood came out and mocked Blade, then offered him membership into The Brotherhood. Mason told Blade he had until July 18 to decide whether or not he would join. Will James Blade side with The Brotherhood or will his final run be on the side of good?

Ash Riot vs Mark Davis
No Disqualification Match

The best of friends have now become the worst of enemies. Two men who have travelled around the country and around the world together both blamed each other for being eliminated in the six man showdown at Valley Fight Night in January for the vacant PWA International Title. This lead to Riot and Davis facing off in a best of three series to determine the number one contender to face the man that won the six man showdown in January, Esteban Molina.

Shockingly, Ash Riot was able to score two consecutive wins to win the series 2-0 at 'New Hazard' in March. Mark Davis snapped and viciously beat down Ash Riot until security could separate them. Later in the night, Mark Davis was apart of The Brotherhood, who won a six man tag over The Resistance of Ash Riot, Phoenix and Kyote.

In April, Ash Riot cashed in his title shot and faced off against Esteban Molina. Many have claimed this to be the best PWA International Title match in the belt's prestigious history. Riot was within mere seconds of winning the match until Mark Davis ran out and caused Riot to lose.

At Rise of the Warriors 3, after Riot lost to 'Jag' Hartley Jackson, Davis again attacked Riot, this time with a plastic bag, trying to suffocate Riot. The next night, the two faced off once more, but this time Davis was able to come out the victor.

Cavendish Road will see the brutal bitter end between these former friends!

Esteban Molina (c) vs Shane Haste vs Kiel Steria vs Zero
PWA International Title Match

In his seventh defence of the PWA International Title, and the thirty-nineth defence of the title, Esteban Molina faces one of the biggest challenges of his career at Cavendish Road. After an impressive showing at Rise 3, Molina is ready to put his title up against three men known for their high-flying abilities.

Making his return to PWA Queensland, Shane Haste is a man who has built a huge name for himself not only in his home company EPW, but also throughout the USA. The former EPW Heavyweight Champion and former EPW Tag Team Champion, Haste is looking to add the PWA International Title to his long resume of achievements.

After an impressive showing against AJ Istria at PWA Underground, Kiel Steria makes his return to Queensland. After coming so close to winning the PWA Underground Title, Steria will not only have to contend with two new opponents, but will have to face off against his Blitz Team partner, Haste.

Stepping up for The Resistance is its newest member, Zero. Returning recently from a near two year tour of Canada, this is Zero's chance to step up in Queensland in a big way. A win for Zero in this match could mean a big power shift towards The Resistance.

"The Dynasty" Mason Childs vs "The Ultimate Athlete" AJ Istria
#1 Contenders Match to the PWA International Title

The Rise of the Warriors 3 final posed many complex issues for the contendership to the International Title.

Mason Childs was able to pin and eliminate the current champion, Esteban Molina, in the finals, which he claims should make him the next in line for a shot at the title. AJ Istria on the other hand, not only won the tournament, but eliminated Mason to win it, which, according to Istria's manager, Donnie St Michael, makes him next in line for a shot at the title ahead of Mason.

With this in mind, Commissioner Williamson has made a match between the two, with the winner recieving his title shot in August.

In PWA Queensland action, these two now hold one win over each other, but wins by submission. Both men have been corner stones in PWA Queensland since the very beginning. This battle between teacher and student will be a very explosive contest. Will AJ Istria be able to truly reach the upper echelon of PWA Queensland with his second straight win over Mason, or will Mason finally have his shot at the man he has targeted in his campaign of hate since December, Esteban Molina?

Seoul (c) vs James Blade
PWA Queensland Title Match
After his address to the fans at night two of Rise of the Warriors 3, James Blade spoke at length about his last match before injury and how ashamed he was of his actions at ringside that night. With this in mind, Mark Williamson has made this match as a chance for James Blade to find redemption before his retirement this year. This is also a huge opportunity for Blade to kick-start his final run by scoring a huge win and one of the most prestigious titles in PWA.

Since October, Seoul has been on the roll of a lifetime. With an 8 month title reign so far, Seoul has already defeated not only James Blade in his title run, but the likes of Johnny Gunn, Mark Davis, Sorrow and Mason Childs. Determined to become the greatest PWA Queensland Champion of all time, Seoul has the chance to become the only champion in PWAQ history to reach a full year as champion.

Will July 18 be the night James Blade gets his first title in PWA Queensland, or will Seoul continue his dominance over the title?

Johnny Squared (c) vs The Fitness Maniacs
PWA Queensland Tag Team Title Match

Heading into their fourth title defence, Johnny Squared have established themselves as one of Australia's top teams. In their quest to establish the Queensland tag titles as the most sought-after tag belts in Australia, they have issued an open challenge to anyone in Australia to face them for the belts. The challenge was accepted by two men who have been making quite a name for themselves as a team recently. Sean O'Shea and Mikey Broderick have both established themselves in Queensland as top contenders for the PWA International Title. Will the Johnnys have the team work to beat The Fitness Maniacs, or will Sean and Mikey's sensational fitness abilities be too much for the Johnnys?

Sorrow vs Phoenix
The once former tag partners will once again face off at Cavendish Road! The history between these two has been well documented, but will this be the night Phoenix finally scores the illusive win over Sorrow, or will Sorrow continue to prove that Phoenix is still second best to him 'for listening to the fans'?

D*Star vs "Mr Juicy" Adam Gambino vs Kyote vs Josh Haze
Four Man Showdown

Making his long awaited return to PWA Queensland is a man who stole the show back in October during the Super Tag League, "Mister Juicy" Adam Gambino. With his unorthodox style, Mr Juicy is looking to score a big win that will cement him a place on the PWA Queensland roster, but he has some formidable competition infront of him.

2009's rookie breakout star, Josh Haze, has shown amazing potential throughout 2009, including an exceptional performance in the PWA Queensland 6 Man title match at Rise 3 Night 2.

D*Star has also been looking for that big breakout win since joining the Nightmare Assassin Squad, with his new attitude and grills, could this be the chance he needs to move up the PWAQ ranks?

But the biggest factor in this match easily has to be the 170kg Kyote, who also is looking to get back on track after returning from injury. The former PWA International Champion has stumbled out of the blocks in 2009, after ending the year on such a high in 2008. Will this be his chance to regain his momentum and become the force he was in 2008 once more?

Kellie Skater and Sway's Open Tag Team Challenge
After aligning themselves as a team at Rise of the Warriors 3 Night 2, Kellie Skater and Sway have issued an open challenge to any two women in Australia to prove their dominance as a team. As two of the best in this country, Sway and Skater are now looking to prove they're the top female team in Australia today. Who will accept the challenge?
