that's a valiant effort. I was up til 6am not because of drunk - it's hard to get drunk when paying $5 a beer - but because the cake I ate was so extreme it prevented me from sleeping. I read the virgin suicides in the hall and waited for my friends to come home. they fell asleep on the L train and rode it to the end of the line.
about your pitchfork review: it sucks that the reviewer didn't get it and gave you a shitty score, but at least he wrote about what he liked about the album. and any press is good press: a shitty review in pitchfork (unless it's a 0.0) will probably give you more exposure than a perfect score most other places.
and you have to admit, it was better than the tiny mix tapes review, which was COMPLETE GARBAGE.
