Dima ( Binyamin Dmitry) Pyanin is professional Israeli musician,
influenced by a wide variety of music,playing
tenor/alto/soprano saxophones and clarinet.
Dima grew up in Belarus .His music abilities have been
discovered by his father ,the professional musician
(accordion,drums ) and at the age of 8 Dima began to
attend the local music school ,where he studied accordion,
clarinet and finally saxophone.
In 1988 he attended to Minsk College of Music named
after Glinka majoring in saxophone.
Dima moved to Israel at 1990,where receives a
Bachelor’s Degree(B.Mus) in Performing Arts majoring
in jazz saxophone from the
Rubin Academy
of Music and Dance in Jerusalem in 1995 class
of Boris Gamer.
In 1995/1996 he studied in Holland at
Den Haag Royal Conservatory Jazz department majoring
in jazz saxophone class of John Ruocco.
After graduation Dima works worldwide as freelance
performer, band leader and
saxophone/clarinet private teacher, participating in many
jazz/folk/ethnic/klezmer festivals throughout Europe and
Israel.
As a freelancer regularly performed at various special
and private events,
cocktail parties, and corporate events and.of course,weddings.
He leads his own :
P.R.Groove
Live dj ansamble,jazz/latin combo,
chassidic orchestra,klezmer band.
In addition Dima is a member of :
SaxRange
saxophone quartet ,
TelAviv “HaTayelet”
BigBand conducted by
Amikam Kimmelman.
