Your proposed musical endeaver is most supremely awesome. And it presented to me a possible band name. The part about making one "scared or afeard" not only cracked me up, but it made me think that "afeard" would make a kick-ass band name. On another note, I also think that the xylophone is an oft-underrated and unfairly maligned band instrument, but rather than making an official application now, I'll wait until after I've had time to consider costume options.
Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, "Give me your best shot. I can take it."
