There is always a STORY to tell.
We have a VISION that will bring it to life.
Pyramid Photography is a commercial business and art collective launched in May 2007 by artists Mitzi Gordon and Bradley Paul Valentine.
The group encompasses two primary facets: (1) Creating high-quality images for events, portraiture, musicians and other clients, and (2) Participating in art shows as a creative collective.
Between Gordon and Valentine lies two decades of photographic experience, including collaborative art shows, studio portrait training, photojournalism and much more. Creative flair, modern style and technical prowess shine through every image they create.
By combining distinct talents, the partners become stronger together than they were alone.
Discover a new level of INSPIRATION.
Welcome to Pyramid Photography.
As a photographer, MITZI GORDON strives to stretch the boundaries of everyday observation. She often approaches her work with an editor’s eye, focused on minute details in light, texture and composition.
Several years spent as a photojournalist bring documentary touches to her style, and storytelling is an essential part of her creative process.
Gordon has produced commercial images, graphic designs, event photos and press kits for clients such as St. Anthony's Hospital, Home Shopping Network and BringItInABag.com.
Her artwork has appeared at the Booty Contemporary Art Expo, Gala Corina, the Tampa Museum of Art, Bombshell Gallery and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, among other venues.
Gordon hopes the images captured in her work will touch viewers and make them pause, perhaps seeing in a different way.
BRADLEY PAUL VALENTINE enjoys exploring the unusual stories people tell about themselves. An acute observer, he is a filmmaker at heart. This shows in much of his photographic work, which often experiments with narrative techniques.
For Valentine, art is a process that defines where he is at a particular moment. A versatile photographer and graphic designer, he is known for working on the Family Values Portrait Project at Tampa's Covivant Gallery, where he documented families and couples to emphasize diversity in the Bay area.
Through concert photos and album artwork, Valentine has captured the style of local and national musicians. His art has appeared at the St. Petersburg Arts Center, Gala Corina, the Tampa Museum of Art, Booty Contemporary Art Expo and The Sanctuary Gallery, among other venues.
A longtime Florida resident, Valentine hopes to contribute to Tampa’s growing cultural scene, and help it flourish.
