About me: I am new to the whitewater kayaking world. Can run the upper and lower James solo in Richmond, Va., and Balcony Falls, out near Natural Bridge. I can also run the Nantahala solo, but I don't know if the dam releases in the winter time. I can run class III-IV, I just need to scout well or follow someone else's line.
Mostly just river running with a little surfing is my thing, but eventually will be able to run big water and steep creeks with great confidence, andd play in most holes. Probably kind of old to be trying to get into rodeo playing, but if I get the skills down to do it, one day I'll try it, at least.
I have not yet ocean surf kayaked ... but I will try it some day soon here.
