I am actually going to get rid of my television, so I can constantly make mention of the fact that I DON'T own one, like all those art house dicks who think that not owning a television is some sort of great accomplishment that they need to make notice of every five minutes when someone else mentions something TV related.

Books
Books are for people who can't afford DSL or fast women. Just kidding...but not really. It's not that I don't read or that I am some braindead simian who doesn't value literature, it's that damned near 98% of what is published is pure crap. Don't agree with that statement? Go to your local Barnes and Noble and saunter over to the romance section, pick up every other book and read 10 pages out of it. If you can come back to me and tell me that the publishing industry doesn't have lower acceptance standards than a community college, I will...well, I won't GIVE you anything, but I'll be very surprised.
