What is World Tai Chi Day?
World T'ai Chi and Qigong Day brings people together worldwide across economic and geopolitical lines . . . coming together to celebrate health and healing. It is an annual healing event that has quietly spread across the planet.
It begins at 10 am with groups in New Zealand, and then moves time zone by time zone across the globe, to finish with the final events in Hawaii. People in over 60 countries create a healing wave of calm around the planet.
World Tai Chi and Qigong Day paints a vision of possibility for humanity each year. Subtly, quietly, providing a profound example to millions who participate or experience it through the media. It will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2008. Find out more at World Tai Chi Day
Who is the Qifull Qigong and Tai Chi Network?
We are a group of Qigong, Tai Chi and Aikido practitioners that live around the North Coast of NSW and proximal to the Gold Coast.
We are diverse in the styles, forms and competency of levels of our individual practices and our backgrounds and lifestyles. What we have in common is the willingness to learn from each other and be enriched by exploring complementary styles that provide the opportunity for the deeper unfolding of our own practices. We recognise that we can be inspired by each other and capture through playing with Qi/ Chi /Ki an ‘effortless’ way to live.
We have four get-togethers a year, celebrate Chinese New Year along with our annual general meeting and will be hosting the Australasian Qi/ Chi/ Ki Arts Festival!
How can I be involved in the Festival?
We welcome expressions of interest to be involved in organising, sponsorship, and of course if you practice any Qi/Chi/Ki Arts yourself and want to be involved in the performance/ demonstrations, give a community class/ workshop or talk, we would love to hear from you. Perhaps bring a group you practice with along with you!
We would also very much enjoy sharing your time with us as a community member, audience and workshop participant.
