Denver Colorado is a secret vault of sorts, holding musical riches of unknown proportions. Like any national scene, it houses many first-rate styles and musicians. Quarter Pound is a diamond. Officially started in 2003, Q.P. professionally recorded it’s first release “Rise of Locoloze” and later, “Live 1" which was taken from several previously filmed shows. Both were well received for their unique sound and diverse selections. From, blues, rock & roll and acoustic to punk, hard rock and metal - this band adapts well with many ears. Admired and respected throughout the hard rock and metal scene, Q.P. played extensively gaining a wide range of support.
Like all bands Quarter Pound is not immune to growth pains. Despite the grievous parting of a few great musicians Q.P. would continue to perform choice shows and create new and stalwart music. Again holding true to which Quarter Pound is known for.
Now ready for another long awaited release, Quarter Pound has again undergone evolution. Remaining as one of the greatest original local acts, this band continues to reach deeper into the hearts and minds. Full throttle and focused, Q.P. chips away to reach the core and leave it’s Q.P. imprint on the industry.
