Q is 100% Laotian(GOOGLE IT) .Q-star is a true beatmaker and a producer. He grew up in North West Ohio in the 419 area that is also known as Lay-Town. He is certainly no newbie to the field of producing; Q-star already started his work in 1999. He describes his style as typical "Midwest" with a bit of influences from the East and West Coast.
