About me:
June 5, 2008 I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Ulcerative colitis is an inflammatory disease that affects the colon (large intestine). It causes inflammation and ulcerations of the colon's innermost lining. It may not sound so bad, but believe me, it's more serious than people realize. Each day I struggle with making sense of everything and and why this happened to me. My life has never been easy and it seems to get more difficult as the days pass, but I have overcome every obstacle that has been put in my path and I am a better person because of it.
I graduated from Heald College in January but have had a difficult time finding a job and that is beginning to frustrate me. I have a 2 year old nephew named Jacob who is the best and cutest little man in the world! I love my family more than anything else and without them I would not be where I am today.
