Bill Maher, The Daily Show, Colbert,Ugly Betty,Desp. Housewives,Grey's Anat., and I have to admit, American Idol The older ones? The Wonder Years, of course,was right on the money, he was same age and it was the same setting as I was growing up... and Paul was somewhat based on a friend in Lexington, named Paul, who was a cousin to the creators of the show. Perfection! ~ R.I.P Paul ~ I also loved Dick Van Dyke, Newhart (both),Cheers and others of that ilk. Oh, I also loved Hitchcock and Night Gallery. Mainly I watch News networks and TIVO the series and movies.

About me:

I am the same girl I was at 20...I just know better how to handle me now that I'm (dare I say it?) older.... There, I said it, I'm 50....it's really not that different...the body tells me it IS however, though not a bad one for 50. The mind hasn't changed...the wants...the needs.... the ideals. I think I am here to help cheer people when they are down. To make them laugh until they can laugh no more. To have them think about ideas they'd never imagined,whether profound or trivial. I'm a profound thinker,which sometimes leads to overanalyzing stuff that is most likely better left alone. I'm creative,partly due to me being left-handed. I love figuring out things that I have no clue about, such as electronics,plumbing,etc... I'm sometimes (mostly)stubborn, when I know I'm right. I argue well and fairly. I either prove I'm right (most always, because if I doubt my argument, I won't argue it)or I bow out gracefully, with my pouty-face in tow. I'm not the most organized or the best (hell, not even in the top 50%) housekeeper. Although, house-keeping could also mean..keeping your home safe,having good home-cooked meals and filling it with love and laughter. I'm a very good house-keeper in that regard. The other is often just for show....and my own show supercedes that one. I'm picky....quirky....funny....witty....liberal.... and somewhat unique....in a good way I think. I'd like hangin' around me if I were someone else. So there, just a portion of the complexity that is ME. Settled.......and.......... CHECK PLEASE.

Hey I have that song "One of these mornings" on a CD. (Miami Vice Movie soundtrack). Yeah I went to the library to FINALLY get the books and it ends up they gave me the 3rd and 4th ones, and totally skipped the second one. Which is probably where the series will pick up!! I'll end up buying the whole series just to make sure I can read all of them...ugh! :(
Hope things are going okay considering how things are at the moment.
