A Bio---Redoing one's resume....Biobit?..Might have to wait for the reaper before getting this right
First off I love to play the gutar and sing before an appreciative audience. Nothing new there (Hmm) What I won;t do for a case of Clap. I live for the chance to sing for you. Cause I Play the Guiitar. At first it was singing car tunes with my folks on long trips in the car. My grand father wanted some one in the family to learn his balllads. The Big Bull Moose Clamantis-ying in the desrto (Sorry Dartmouth IT was folk at first in the mid 60's then' Bob Zimmerman sold out and we all shook our heads and alot of us bought electric guitars. But without a band i scorched a path of accoustic love songs across Mendocino (blow your mind in the morning) A drummer awol from the marines, a bass player who was the son of the local hardware dealer. At 28 bagging the ol sportin' life it was killing me. Songs, songs, songs I have a bunch of songs, Ive even written a new one or two recently So what kind of music do I call it?? some js Folk, some, Rockabilly, a lulabye, Country parodies that turned out to be not parodies, some SF 60;s ala Quicksilver. Some loung songs. Siune we are all fathers and mothers not I refer to it as Momand Pop. If you care tpo Listen I shuffle my songs once a month on Myspace. The tough part of all this is that some songs are now involuntariuly. Parkinsons has left me with time on my hands and a sweet guitar sitting on my knee but shaking hands means some thing different than a friendly greeting - So call me Quaker David and my side personss the society of Friends.
