My daughter Tiffany just got married August 8, 2009 and now is expecting her 2nd child. Life is extremely busy around my house, my daughter, her new husband and my grandson just moved back in and soon my new grand baby, working full time and going to school, I never have any me time, But LIFE is good. On a personal note I am 46 years old, a RN, DON and love Harley's and just bought myself a Harley Davidson Sportster XL883L (must be a mid-life crisis thing). I love music, friends, family, reading a good book, forensics is a passion, enjoy relaxing times out by the pool with friends and family and my favorite thing now is just to enjoy life and my grandson Caden!! I love my new job, I work for one of the best Home Health Agencies, which also has a great group of employees whom I consider friends as well. I finally have found the one place I am sure of being with until I reach retirement, maybe not hopefully will be a Family Nurse Practitioner in a year and a half!!!! A New Forum for Authors and Readers Apr 13th, 2007 by qualitybookreviews | Edit QBR (Quality Book Reviews) has just opened a new forum dedicated to and for authors as well as readers alike. I would like to invite everyone to drop by check it out and offer any suggestions to make this a better place for all. I am often asked how I determine which books I am going to read and review. I get most of the catalogs from the major publishers and request review copies of books I have an interest in reading, and there are many of interest. I read several review sources on a regular basis. I will read just about anything I can get my hands on, with the emphasis on fiction, forensics and true crime. I have a great deal of respect and a love for new authors, mostly because when I find an author I like, I tend to read everything they have ever written, which more or less forces me to find new authors. Crime fiction comprises probably half of my reading time and is my guilty pleasure, but I also read chick-lit, contemporary fiction, tons of forensics, erotica, memoirs, compelling non-fiction, and works of horror, fantasy and sci-fi. I am a voracious reader, and read several books each week. I even am a member of many of the book clubs.
