The year was 1979. It was the year that saw Mother Theresa awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Margeret Thatcher became first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, "Alien" the movie was released in cinemas and Muhammad Ali announced his retirement.
And on the other side of the world, 1979 also became the year a young Frank Arnold had an idea (OK, so it probably wasn't the first time ever he'd had an idea...but this one was particularily clever). That idea was Quantum Ideas.
