Influences range broadly across all genres but may at any one time include John Cage, KK.Null, Ryoji Ikeda, Grind/Crust bands, Tuvan throat-singing and other ethnic/traditional music, Drill'N'Bass, IDM, Indie Rock, Hip-Hop and Reggae/Dub/Ragga/Dancehall etc.
HISTORY
Confusing extreme. Juxtapositions and speed. A range of sounds are represented by QNE however the main interest is fast, loud, polyrhythmic and polyphonous.
'Quantum Nanotech Extinction' began as a way to make polyphonous and polyrhythmic organised sound that contained a huge scope of dynamics, chords and rhythms without reliance upon other people to do the job. The musical scope is eclectic and free from being static.
Quantum nanotech extinction is the idea of a best case scenario for humankind. If we get the chance to eliminate our species with such an extremely advanced technology, we would at least have made it that far.
'Q.N.E.' is the computed output of Ben B, a Melbourne based noise terrorist. Beginning to work sounds with Indie Rock bands ('Tristesse', 'A Slow Loris'), he soon moved into harsher territory with guitar-based Noise band 'Raped By Noise' (1997 - 2003) and Grindcore/Crust two-piece 'CoreAnticore' (1996 - present). Both these projects continue to this day however 'R.B.N.' has been retitled to 'NoiseFucked' due to the same reasons Steve Albini didn't stick with 'Rapeman'. During this time he also failed Sound Production Cert.IV @ RMIT, collaborated with Death Bed Conversion (Tas), Alex Pope (Sea Scouts) and Monster Monster Monster (Tas) as well as promoting all ages shows including artists such as KK.Null, Andrew Garton, Ninety-Nine & Sea Scouts.
'R.B.N.' / 'Noisefucked' is currently also a solo project after former founding member Paul B ('Hand-Eye Co-Ordination', 'A Slow Loris', 'Offensatron', 'The Breaching Process') did a runner on the band & share house. Good on ya and thanks for all the fish.

The basic difference between ASCAP and APRA is simple at the core. The ASCAP contract is non-exclusive where as the APRA contract is exclusive. When you give exclusive control to your copyright upto an NGO governed by corporate monopolists, strange things happen with your copyright. Strange illusions and explanations about copyright evolve through more NGO's that explain themselves to be councils for the people. The corporations have both sides of the coin and you by the balls, as they do with most things. The commons is most likely not the solution, yet exclusive control of your copyright, is for sure not the solution. You are tied to a Union that is a lie. How many live spaces can afford to pay APRA for your songs, is it working for you? ASCAP in the US allow artists to license their art using any creative commons license and remain a member, as their contract is non-exclusive. Australian artists can join/transfer to ASCAP.also:: Your in breech of your APRA contract with your content on myspace, yet myspace have agreed to pay the publishers for use of their content, yet not you the artist without a publisher, for use of your content... what to do? line up for some funding from the arts council...
