About me: If you'd like to get to know me looking through my sketchpads is pretty beneficial too. There's a lot that doesn't seem to really show itself in conversation that comes out clearer in my notebook.
A page from the ol' sketchpad, circa May 2007:
Older explananation:
"Uh, I draw. And then I take those drawings and scan them. And then I take those drawings after I've scanned them and then I put the scanned images (not the real, on-paper ones) in the computer, specifically in this free program called Mojave Photolab. And then I take the finished versions of the electronic (meaning "still in the computer") images and put them on Cafepress.com, where you buy them, provided you are cool enough and have money, both of which are the same thing."
The internet is not a suitable medium for expressing yourself.
I want to make art as often and as much as possible.
Who I'd like to meet: Other people who still prefer concrete living and feel badly about trying to meet people using the internet.
Solid folks.
I wouldn't exactly like to meet these kinds of folks, but I am certainly intrigued by what they're doing:
Ryan Tecantin's "I-Be Area" video art
Jeremy Blake's moving paintings
Run Wrake's animation "Anyway", which scared the hell out of me in 7th grade:
Sweet. What's Deerhoof? And man I just saw the coolest concert on the 13th.. Me and Nate went to see Children Of Bodom at the Masquerade. It was wicked awesome. And yeah the painting was sold in a silent auction.

I paint a good bit (lately I haven't had a lot of time) but I'm going through sketchbooks pretty fast too. I'm in Vaudeville, by the way, so you should come see it.
