"Leicester four-piece do it Happy Mondays style! And they do it with some class too. 'Gimme Some Love' is a cracking track, and it stayed in my head for days. It has that Mondays shuffle and a disgracefully good chorus that has early Oasis written all over it. 'Feed Me to the Lions' brings with it Stone Roses-esque guitar, and while not their strongest track, it's still strong enough to warrant further listens. I rate this lot, and they'll be around for a long time i think."
-Steve Graham, Escapado Records
"Very entertaining to watch almost organised chaos but it works! They certainly turned a few heads."

"You can hear clear influences from the off. The Dead 60’s for a start, with bluesy riffs and a liberal sprinkling of early Oasis. Quaternary Limit have attitude, but need gigs for the attitude to work properly. The good points do shine through but a more mature vocalist would aid the transition from mediocre Oasis tribute band and into promising young upstarts. I hope the gigs do keep coming and they get the chance to fulfil their potential. They just need to tighten up a lot, and the choppy effect-laden guitar is done with as much panache as a toddler eating an ice-cream, and all we’re left with is a big sticky mess. Quaternary Limit do have some potential, but wear their influences on their sleeve a tad too much. Let’s just say that time will tell with this band, as time is definitely what they need."
- Mat Gladstone, Sandman Magazine
"A really fresh and new sound"
- Paul Bentley, Odd shApEd hEAd
"Featuring Tom Ugli from the fabulous student band UGLI, superb guitarists and fine vocals, this indie band has a hint of punk about it. They have a busy summer playing Leicester venues, which is great because they have some great songs for us to listen to, such as "Gimme Some Love"."

"I went to see Kasabian live a couple of weeks ago...you were 300 times better!" - excited audience member (possibly James from The Utopians) at The Shed, Leicester, in January
"Think The Stone Roses, Soundgarden, Rage Against The Machine" - Seaweed Biscuit Promotions, Sheffield
Quaternary Limit formed in August 2006 out of the ashes of at least five bands, maybe more, and have since been dedicated to gigging up and down the country. In pursuit of this goal QL have played, to name just a few, Leeds, Sheffield and The Cavern Club in Liverpool. QL are now looking forward to a summer of writing and gigging and hope to see you on the road very soon.
It seems like years since the last Moorfest happened and to be honest I think the weather was very much a factor in whether people enjoyed themselves or not. Some thrived in the mud whilst others wept until their dads could pick them up. Moorfest is still carving an identity for itself and in the three years that it has been established I think I can say that the one thing that most people love about it is the friendly atmosphere, and this gig is a good opportunity to meet up with friends that perhaps you haven't seen since the festival, to make new friends, enjoy quality music, get a flavour of Moorfest if you haven't already been and also to talk to the organisers in order to give your opinions on how to improve the festival. We'll also be projecting your favourite photos that you've taken from previous Moorfests to create a live mashup that will adorn the walls of the Brudenell so please send them to bandsformoorfest@yahoo.co.uk and make sure that everyone in the picture is cool for you to use them like this.
There'll be much more to boot like gorgeous organic food, t-shirt stall, films and raffles to win tickets to Moorfest 4 which we're working on right now and aim to make it the best yet.
We really appreciate your continued support in making Moorfest what it is and hope to see you all there.
