I like designing and building. Anything creative, I'll give it a go. Used to be into rollerblading, but i'm getting to old to be sliding down rails...brittle bones. Photography, web design, video editing, landscaping, interior decorating, songwriting and stuffing around on my 20" iMac. Oh.. and I like playing cricket.

Jazz, Ambient Chill, bit of techno.. anything except opera and metal. But metal opera might be worth listening to.

Everything looks good on my new LCD TV so yeah, I'll watch anything.. even Neighbours

For somebody as eloquent and grammatically proficient as myself, I don't actually enjoy reading much. Oh, I like reading junk mail catalogues.

About me:

I'm Terence and i'm a piano teacher, but not just any piano teacher. If you wanna learn how to play good piano.. and i'm not talking about classical stuff.. then you've come to the right place. I'll teach you how to read chords, play for church, pull off some some fancy runs and riffs and write your own songs.

Christmas day.. ho ho ho. you guys gotta stop giving me chocolates. not that i don't appreciate it. I really do appreciate the 27 boxes of lindt balls and i'll be selling them on ebay soon.

Every year we receive dodgy presents... recycled ones that go from person to person with each kris kringle that comes along. here's my first one for the year. if you receive this as a gift from me, you know i really don't like you.

Went to Rye for the weekend. Shortly before we arrived at the cottage, I made a U-turn at a neighbouring street (not at the cottage) and backed my 4WD into a steel mesh fence (which definitely was not at the cottage). Had to fix the fence by pulling it with a crowbar. This fence was not at the cottage but at another location. But it was a great time... the sun, the surf, the fish, wet dogs and vomitting baby.

OK. Now to bust some myths. no, lessons aren't free. But they're cheap.. way cheap. i'm so cheap i brush my teeth using the run-off water from the washing machine. but seriously, some of my students, like Loke... he doesn't even pay me for teaching him. "I want a discount. I want a discount.." Just pay me first then we'll talk discount.

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to go back in time and meet the 12yo version of myself and warn him never to perm his hair in year 9, and not eat so much chicken. I'd tell him to accept Quynh's invitation to the year 10 formal, be kind to Ruby, never learn the clarinet, don't study so hard in VCE, and not to drive my family car into the street lamp. Oh.. and i'd tell him not to waste so much time with PCs and get a Mac right from the start. =)

Just so you know - I've given that book "Living The Jazz Life", that you loaned me AGES ago, to Cherie so that she can bring it back to you. I'm so sorry I haven't returned it sooner. So yeah, you should get it whenever school starts again ;)

wow! nice pics from ur Rye trip. Really like the mia eyes+forehead pic ha ha it's cool. You really need to get a flash to fill in those outdoor pics with heavy overhead sun. I've got Ben Chia's 550ex so you can borrow my 420ex if you like.

LOL yes! I'd love to come work for you - BUT! next year I'll be working and doing my AMUS + violin, guitar and hopefully improvisation lessons with you again.. and then the year after that I may be going to Avondale College, and the year after THAT I want to go to Africa (maybe) to work in an orphanage teaching music..and other things..and that means I won't be back 'til 2010 - and even then I may not come back to Melbourne! *sigh*

Well I've never seen you and Mia chuck a spastic - but I reckon it'd be fun to watch!! :P

You got smoke around your area? We have and its getting thicker and thicker :(

TERENCE!! Love that Mighty To Shave vid! Crazy stuff..

Mia is very cute and I have to agree with that chic, she DOES look heaps like you! Esp with that expression on her face - its you all over.

Guess what! I've got a job for next year :D Working part time as a secretary (one week on, one week off) so I'm pretty excited about that. AND guess what else? I heard that the new "car laws" don't come in til July 1? So I can get my Ps sooner than 120hrs.. So if you're cool with it, I need more imp. lessons!!!! I'm really bad now :( Need more encouragement from the man himself!

Anyway this is kinda long and I've g2g cuz I've got a couple of students rocking up any minute. TTYL!

ey terence! you know what... your daughter looks ALOT like you..anyhow... check out kaki king the guitarist... weird song titles..but it's instrumental so you won't get weird lyrics... but she's awesomely talented..
