DJ/MC QUANTUM(or Quazza as hes more affectionately known)has been at the forefront of Adelaides dance scene for the past 7 years.Bursting out of the blocks as half of the now infamous Hoover Crew alongside DJ Submission,he helped champion the booming hard house sound that dominated Adelaide's biggest raves such as Enchanted Forrest,Stardust,System 6(Adelaide and Brisbane) and Ultra World in the early 2000's.He has played alongside and MC'd for some of the biggest names in the business,including Carl Cox,Pendulum,Andy C,Jeff Mills,Karim and many many more.These days however,while still rocking the biggest shows,its the tribal drums of techno that gets his blood running,his passion for the sound helping run Adelaide's only pure techno night,Tekstyle.
Do not though,think of Quazza as a one trick pony.He has been nominated for numerous awards at the S.A Dance Music Awards,including both Hard House DJ,Techno DJ as well and RnB DJ and M.C of the year,and is widely regarded as one of the states most versatile selectors.Evidence of this is his current long standing residency at Mojo,where you can catch him spinning everything from hip hop to house,rock to electro,bootlegs to RnB and everything in between.He even runs Adelaide's favourite 80's night,the aptly titled DANGERZONE,and shows no signs of slowing down.So if you need a party rocked,no matter what ya flavour,just think Q......
