About me:

Lets start with the basics, shall we? If you couldn't tell by now, my name is Elisabeth. I've been walking this earth since June of 1989 making me a wise 20 year-old young woman. I'm not like your average 20 year-olds. I don't over stress the small things in life; like if my hair is too frizzy, or I don't have the perfect outfit, or my purse doesn't match my shoes. No, I am far beyond that stage of life. Currently I am a full time college student studying Sociology with aspriations of becoming a Drug Rehabilitation Counselor. It's my ambition to help people, and touch their lives. You talk about making a difference, I'm going for it. I enjoy the simple beauty in things, and I take the time to appreciate them. I guess you could call me a hippie in that aspect. My mother is like my best friend; I tell her almost everything and I know she'll always be there reguardless of what happens. My stepdad, you'll often hear me call him dad because he's the reason I have the motivation to make my life better and he's been like a father to me since I first met him. My grandparents are two of the most influential people in my life, and I would be lost without them. My sister is deffinately my partner in crime; we're the black sheep of the family, and we fucking love it. I don't care too much for materialistic things, because when it comes down to it, it's the people in your life that make it special, not how many Louis Vuitton items you own. I live my life like an open book; I'll tell my story to all those who are willing to listen. I'm a very spiritual person, however I don't really believe in organized religion. I often use music as an escape, whether I'm singing it, writing it, or playing it. I love going to concerts and throwing down in a good moshpit. I hold my own ground. I'm a very brutally honest person at times, and if you can't handle my opinion, then don't ask for it. Please don't try to sway my mind to think the way your mind does, you will never make me conform to what you believe is right. I'm not a judgemental person, and I give everyone a chance to prove themselves before I pass any judgement. My best friends, though they aren't many, they mean the world to me; they keep me insane in a horribly sane world. I've done things in my life that I'm not proud of, but I've grown from those expiriences and I wouldn't change the outcome of anything because it has made me who I am today. I've been hurt many times, but I've learned to just throw that to the side and move on; never looking back. I'm a fighter. I always have been and I always will be. No matter what happens or what will happen in the future; I will never fucking falter. I love who I've become, and I wouldn't ever think of going back to the shell of a person that I used to be.
