I love taking photos - not of anything in particular but I do like the way light plays with things and I'm learning how to do action shots which is fun but quite difficult with a digital camera. I've got heaps of photos here if you fancy a tour round NZ and some surrounding countries.
Music
Well, goat & I totally rock, but then I might be a tad biased - see for yourself (how much we rock, not my biases), check out The Grace Jones.
The other thing you can do is check out The Deaf Club. This is Goat in another, very loud form.
Bands I'm into... The Stranglers, The Damned, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Eels, Carcass, Fear Factory, Anathema, At The Gates, Faith No More, Strapping Young Lad, Eskimo Joe, Disturbed, Soundgarden, Breaking Benjamin, Flaw, Front242, C-Tec, Skinny Puppy and numerous others...
Movies
Blade Runner
Queen of the Damned
Legend
The Fifth Element
Really cheesy sci-fi B movies - you gotta love all that tinfoil they use to make the aliens and spaceships. The tinfoil market must've gone into a huge decline when they found other things to use.
Books
I devour books, generally 2-3 books a week, I'm currently re-reading the entire series of 'The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe', along with Elizabeth Redfern's 'The Music of the Spheres' and Eoin Colfer's 'Supernaturalist' (it depends on my mood when I go to bed which book I continue with).
I love Terry Pratchett books and have got all of them including the graphic novels, plays, mini-books blah de blah... yes I'm a sad geek and I've read them all a gazillion times each so they're rather dog-eared.
I've read a few biographies/non-fiction books recently which have been good and I can recommend 'Scar Tissue' by Anthony Keidis, 'The Long Way Round' by Ewan McGregor and his mate Charlie, 'Blood Against The Snows' which is about the Nepalese Royal Family and the Dalai Lama's biography.
Heroes
Do they have to be real people? No? Jolly good. In that case I vote for Slaine and Durham Red.
The Grace Jones are a Northern Ireland/NZ collaboration made up of my friend Goat in Belfast and me here in Auckland. We're creating some new noises just randomly going where we feel and it's coming along pretty nicely. It's been an interesting (and long) process, what with us being 15,000 miles apart. We've had some airplay on BBC Radio Ulster already (with the album still only half finished) so it's all looking quite promising.
And as for this 'About Me' section... blah... if you want to know anything ask me a question or check out my acting site, which I've been a total slack-arse about updating recently. I'm a bad, bad person. :)
Feel free to drop me an email. My Hotmail address appears to be slightly more reliable than emailing via MySpace.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to go clothes shopping with Eddie Izzard and Jean-Paul Gaultier, I doubt that any sensible outfits would result but who wants sensible anyway? More shoes vicar!
It would be pretty amazing to meet the Dalai Lama. He's very inspirational and has an amazing life story to tell.
My UK friends. I miss them all so much. Hopefully I can fly back over for a visit within the next year.
Other people it would be nice to talk with: Gabriel Byrne, Cate Blanchett, Anthony Keidis, Rob Zombie, Terry Pratchett, Layne Staley (I know, I know, but no-one said anything about it being people who are still alive), Henry Rollins, Ridley Scott.
My Nana, who is very cool and fell in love with Chinese food last year. She'd only ever eaten English food before but decided 88 was a good age to get adventurous. Go Nana!

I'm sorry I haven't written. I'm swamped with work these days. I'm really glad to hear from you. It's funny to hear from you because I was thinking of you just before you sontacted me. I had hoped to see you the last time I was over in the UK with Mojo. I want to hear all about what is going on with you.
