About me:
Queen Puff Puff
Handmade with care for the gal with flair!
Queen Puff Puff was created by Nicole Vasbinder out of her love of stylish handbags and vintage fabric. After 8 years in the garment industry working in design, merchandising and sales, she needed a personal creative outlet and she started sewing handbags for herself and her friends. After countless suggestions to sell her bags, she finally took the plunge and launched Queen Puff Puff in 2003. 4 years and 3 sewing machines later and we just keep growing.
Each Queen Puff Puff style is a beautifully made limited edition and is handmade in the Bay Area. She uses both vintage and retro fabrics in her creations and is constantly sourcing exciting new materials. Nicole has recently added fabulous makeup bags and headbands to the line and new accessories are always in the works. The collection is available in boutiques & online throughout the US and beyond.
Nicole also teaches sewing classes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. When she isn't sewing, she loves to host cocktail parties and shop at estate sales. Nicole is also one third of the International Sisterhood of Seamsters, SF Local 101. The Seamsters are a collective of women-owned craft businesses that also includes Chic Cosas and Hambone & Jennicakes. The Seamsters are making plans to take over the world one stitch at a time!!!
