queen city roller girls Thanks to all of our fans for your support and making the QCRG's 3rd season a success~ We couldn't do it without you! Next bout is in January 2010! view more
We're looking to meet hip, adventurous ladies who're just dying to let it all hang out. What better way than through Roller Derby? You'll get to express your creative/angry/sexy/wild sides and do it all in the company of your nemesisters! It's community, It's competition, it's freedom on 8 wheels! All shapes, shades, sizes and abilities welcome. Must be 21+ to be a roller girl.
Not quite 21? Are you a guy who wants to get involved somehow? Then we'd love to train you to be a QCRG referee! The only requirement is that you be 18+.
Your time and commitment will whip you into ass-kicking derby girl shape! Be Tough, Play Rough and Skate into Infamy!
The Queen City Roller Girls started with three radical, free-thinking, free-wheeling women who love the smell of the rink and the feel of eight wheels under their feet. Sweet Pea moved to Buffalo in April 2006 from Madison, WI where she had skated for the Mad Rolling Dolls Roller Derby League. Longing for Roller Derby in Buffalo, she found Sissy Fit and Flo Torious via the Internet. Sissy and Flo were also looking into lacing-up some quad skates in order to bring roller derby fever to Buffalo. Sweets, Sissy and Flo pulled their resources together and worked diligently to found Western New York's first and only All-Women Flat Track Roller Derby League-The Queen City Roller Girls!
We have since expanded to a league of roughly 90 kick-ass women with 4 teams which include the Suicidal Saucies, Nickel City KnockOuts, Devil Dollies and North Tonawanda Alley Kats!
