About me:
Purpose:
As an urban shaman, award-winning author, popular speaker and workshop leader for the past 35 years, it has been my job to track and celebrate the cosmic cycles of the seasons, as well as the universal seasons of human life. It is my special concern to reconnect the urban population with the wondrous workings of the natural world. To that end, I have led countless joyful celebrations of celestial events that have introduced ancient traditional rituals and contemporary ceremonies to millions of people in more than 100 cities since 1972.

Passion:
It is my particular passion to inspire and empower women to rise to their full potential, to step into their own sovereignty, and to become the Queens of their own lives. Now, when the planet is suffering from testosterone poisoning, it is crucial for women to accept the mantle of conscientious leadership.

I maintain a ceremonial center, spirit shop, ritual practice and consultancy in Exotic Brooklyn, NY where I work with individuals, groups, institutions, municipalities and corporations to create meaningful ceremonies for every imaginable occasion. Even the tiniest drop of water shining on a spider's web is stardust and starlight. All living things are related. We're all brothers and sisters." He pointed out toward the silent brilliance in space, his large eyes clear and luminescent. "We were all created in the intergalactic clouds that came from the first great breath of life. Some call it the Essence of God." Ziggy wagged his tail and his eyes sparkled. He understood what the professor was saying...

You could say it's in the center of the universe, in the flash between moments of time and space. It was created out of water and light, at the very place where the light meets and shimmers off the water. Some of us call it the Land of Sparkle. You can look into the windows of Quantia from here. You can see it from almost anywhere, if you look hard enough." "We can?" cried the children, "How?" In a gentle voice, he pointed: "Look at the sun sparkling on the river. Look at the dewdrops glistening on the trees. Walk through a puddle of rain, and when the sun comes out, you'll see it! You can even see it in the eyes of your fellow earthlings when they laugh!” And with that, he let out the deepest, heartiest laugh the children had ever heard, and his eyes began to twinkle like a thousand blue stars on a clear winter night.
