About Queensbridge Theater

Queensbridge Theater is a brand new 5,000sq ft venue opening summer 2008 at 37-31 10th St (bet 36th/37th Aves) in Long Island City, Queens. QB is founded by Rob Prichard, former proprietor of the much-loved Surf Reality space: a 65 seat theater in Manhattan’s Lower East Side (1993-2003) presenting cutting edge comedy, eccentric performance art and vaudeville, classic burlesque, modern music and experimental theater.

QB intends to expand on the creative mission of Surf Reality, presenting music, circus, variety, performance, and working with the local community to nourish the creative spirit of the neighborhood. With a cafe on premises, state-of-the art lights and sound, 54" high stage with a load-in ramp from the front gate, aerial rigging, comfortable artist accommodations and a mezzanine VIP area, QB will be the premier performance venue in LIC.
