Just a quick note (sort of a myspace round robin) to let people know there are some new songs on me profile. As always, any thoughts and comments are more than welcome.

Thoroughly enjoyed my set as a guest of the Hall Brothers in the Conservative Club. The whole festival seemed to be really well-organised - congrats to all the committee! - and I certainly felt well looked after! It was good to see some pals too - not caught up with Pat & Stuart, the Two Toms or Gerry McNeice for a while.
DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR!! (Pretty please!)

    All the best

What a brilliant day! Fantastic choice of artists, great venue and delightful people. Hope this becomes a permanent fixture. Many thanks to Joe and all the people who put so much work into it. Extra thanks to Tom Napper and Tom Bliss for a very enlightening workshop. See you again next year.

    Greetings from Daemonia Nymphe
  • Jan 25 2009 8:37 PM

Remember the first time you heard the exciting sound of punk rock? Where were you when the Manchester sound burst into life? Always listening to Super Star DJ’s on your IPod? Make sure you don’t miss out on ‘Decks n’ Plugs n’ Rock and Roll!
The 2009 Queensbury Music Festival aims to launch some new bands onto the local music scene over the weekend of 7th and 8th March. The brainchild of Councillor Michael Walls, the festival will provide the opportunity to hear from several established folk bands on the Saturday whilst the Sunday has been turned over to new music acts ranging from Choir to Punk and Hip Hop to Indie.
The main venue for the festival will be Victoria Hall in Queensbury with workshops and additional gigs at the local Conservative Club. All are welcome and ticket prices start from only £5.00.
Councillor Walls says ‘quote “There’s no doubt this is going to be the biggest event that’s ever happened in the village and we want it to be the first of many”
For more information on the acts or ticket prices check out www. myspace. com/queensburymusic.
