Founded in 2003, we are a grassroots, non-profit organization comprised of 2,000+ industry members dedicated in promoting the creative endeavor and maximum visibility of LGBT artists and professionals of all ethnicities in the media (Film, Television, Theater, Music, Arts and Fashion).
Among the many members, artists, personalities and supporters we have worked on and supported us include Margaret Cho, TR Knight, Alec Mapa, Wilson Cruz, Chad Allen, John Amaechi, Robert Gant, Peter Paige, Jai Rodriguez, Rex Lee, Michael Urie, Darryl Stephens, Reichen, JP Calderon, Del Shores and Jason Dottley, directors/producers Randy Barbato, Fenton Bailey, Allan Brocka, JD Disalvatore, Dave O Brien and more. Even gay-friendly artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna and Philippine Pop DIVAs Lea Salonga and Kuh Ledesma had received the DIVA treatment.
Our legendary special events and film projects we have hosted included Sex and The City The Movie Release Party, Mamma Mia- The Movie, Hairspray, Dreamgirls, Madonna: Confessions Tour and Album Promo, Gay Republicans, Devil Wears Prada, Angels in America, Eating Out 2, A Four Letter Word, QUEERFLIX: Outfest Pre Party, Available Men DVD Party, OUT at the Emmys, I-CON: GLAAD and Q Me Con Official After Party, Mulligans, Another Gay Movie/Sequel, Boy Meets Boy Finale, Will and Grace Finale Benefiting Lifeworks Mentoring and much more.
As a community organization, we have raised not only awareness and funds for our own group but with our friends in the community as well such as ACLU, APLA, ONE.org, Equality California, GLAAD, Lifeworks Mentoring, The Trevor Project, Asian Pacific Pride Council, Human Rights Campaign, POWER UP, City of Hope Uncover The Cure, Upright Cabaret, Los Angeles Film Festival, OUTFEST, American Film Institute, Film Independent (FIND), Indian Film Festival, Visual Communications/Asian Pacific Film Festival and SAG LGBT Actors Committee.
