Queer Out West is a community radio program made by and for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer friendly communities of Western Sydney.
The program originally started as ‘Out West and Proud’ hosted by the one and only Pandora Box. In 2000, Pandora moved onto start Queer TV, and so ‘Queer Out West’ was born.
The aim of Queer Out West is to provide a forum for groups and individuals to let the local community know about various social events, fundraisers and other activities taking place in the Western suburbs.
Over the years Queer Out West has interviewed many high profile people within the gay community including Carlotta, Penny Clifford, Peter Everett and David BB06 – just to name a few!
Presenters also play music (including requests) and have a lot of fun along the way.
Produced by Paul, with hosts including the DIVA Awarding winning Miss Beverly Buttercup and Maxi Shield, as well as Gracie Lou and special guest Rob from Big Brother 2006.
Why not join the gang every Monday night from 10pm for a good laugh, camp music and all the local gossip!
