About me: Join us for a one-off queer electro-punk party at Satan's Hollow (101 Princess Street, Manchester) on THURSDAY 14TH MAY 2009 for a mere £4. Performing is Noisy Pig - the one and only queer electro-pop singer from Berlin, performing a very rare UK show complete with his trademark pig hat, bouncy pop tunes and punk rock drumming. Miss this bizarre performer at your peril! Also performing is Ste McCabe, Manchester's political queer-feminist punk-popster - expect loud guitar, drum machine beats, Daily Mail-hating, Pope-bashing and sarcastic lyrics a-plenty. Finally we have Saltylips - bonkers boy-girl duo with filthy beats, 80's samples, bonkers dance routines and the most provocative performance in Manchester by far. To complete the best queer night you'll have in Manchester this year there will be DJ's spinning tunes of an electro, riot grrrl, queer punk and alternative nature with no hint of smelly old Kylie. How can this be?
Who I'd like to meet: Queers, feminists, fun people, socialists, activists, anarchists, people who kick up a stink, political musicians, lefties in general! Please note the bill is full and we have no room for more bands/artists but we do hope you will come and help us party in an anti-Canal Street, in-yer-face, alternative, no bullshit manner!

Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.
